Headshot tips:
Your Headshots are the first point to getting you that audition, so try and get the best headshots you can! Your headshot is an investment for your career so if you can afford it hire a professional photographer to help you.
- Don’t rule out paying for a professional headshot
- It should be a current shoulders and head shot that reflects what you actually look like
- Keep your look as natural as possible. Casting professional and agents want to see the βrealβ you
- Wear something simple and avoid, scarfs hats, distracting backgrounds and objects
- Your eyes are a very important feature, so make sure they are as visible as possible
- Don’t wear too much makeup for your headshot
- Consider using natural light instead of just using studio light
And finally make sure your headshot is not out of focus, blurry or pixelated. Amateur photography will make you look unprofessional which will put off casting directors and agents.
